Just a 5 minute boat ride from its sister hotel, Casadelmar…

On the beach in the Bay of Porto-Vecchio. Hotel La Plage, opened in 2012, nestles in south- facing grounds on the ruggedly beautiful Benedettu Peninsula. The guest accommodation comprises four villas with nineteen guest rooms including three suites. The main building on the beach offers a bar, grill, and swimming pool. The terrace overlooking the white sandy cove offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Porto-Vecchio.

The architect Jean-François Bodin and his partner Antoine Simonin worked together again on this new project. The brief: to design a hotel in keeping with this exceptional setting. The result is a harmonious blend of stone, wood and volcanic rock, complemented by clean geometric lines and eclectic décor. Motherof-pearl, sandy marble gravel, and aged wood add an exquisite touch to the design. Shades of ochre, grey-green, storm blue and absinthe create a colour palette that mirrors the natural surroundings. Outside, vibrant accents play off the dazzling blue of the sea and sky. La Plage exudes an atmosphere of unparalleled refinement, but its greatest luxury is its location. The hotel’s understated design and décor aims at drawing the eye outwards to the extraordinary views.
